4 Rides a Wedding and a Funeral

Yep, it's been a busy time!

Firstly I must break the news of the sad passing of young Nicholas Emerson the co-writer of this fantastic blog. He deleted his Facebook account early last week marking the end of his existence in the realms of social acceptance and leaving several bikes, two rabbits and a bereaved girlfriend in his wake.

You will be missed...

Anyway, on to some other stuff that may or may not be more interesting. It's been a hectic couple of weeks and I apologise for my lack of bloggage and general guff spouting. I'll work backwards on this in a bit of a bulletin type of form thing.

Halloween

Bigbird came to visit yesterday for Halloween and before he flies south for the winter. Always a pleasure and much ale, pizza were eaten, makeup was worn and fry ups were eaten the night ended with serveral people spending a good half an hour decorating the frost on my car with willys, thankfully it rained a lot this morning and saved me having to wash it!

Oooooooo Scary!

Wedding

Matt's got married! Last weekend we all trucked it off down to Guildford for the do. Matt looked beautiful, can't believe that he actually does scrub up! Katie was looking handsome and for all you girlies the dress was amazing, photo below!

Needless to say that at the reception the dancefloor was well and truly torn up with everybody cutting some rug but notably the obligatory dance-0ff. A fantastic day was had by all.

Scotland

Finally the Scottish roadtrip was a couple of weeks ago now, we spent four days tearing round the countryside in cars and on bikes. We hit Innerleithen, Glentress, Kiroughtree and Drumlanrig, all great in their own way but the real standout was Kiroughtree. You simply have to go there it's some of the best flowing singletrack I've ridden in a long time and includes an awesome McMoab slab rock section halfway round that has to be seen to be believed!
