Been going through some changes.....

The BH revamp is getting mental. I'm feeling good on my bike but need to grow some balls in general. Off to ride trails to see if that helps.

I been on holiday. I done this and that

First i quit work and had leaving cocktails

Then Belle ripped up the floor and exposed some 1900 era quarry tiles!


Then i went swimming with Belley in the sun


Then we had a BBQ
Then i rode DH
The Loz's folks gave us an oven for nowt and me and Mackie wired it up right good.

A New Beginning

So as a few of you may know, i left good old uncle Arup a few weeks ago to go try my hand and something a bit different, or potentially to just regress into being 18 again.

I'm back at Uni, studying for a PhD for 3 years in Sports Engineering.

Just had a couple of weeks off with some good exciting times, so might even put up some pics/updates when i get settled into the new office.

Magic.

We have been worse than terrible at updating the blog.... but Norris McNorton just sent me a link to this beatufully opionated architectural slating blog and it got my creative juices flowing.

From now on the blog will have more opionion, and less tales of what me and malco have did. Although we just did done a pearce round and it was awesome fun, if seemingly impossible to do well at.

I have 4 days left at work, then im back to being a full time student. Might i briefly point out that i am not stealing your taxes - im just no longer paying mine.

No News is Good News?

But if you haven't had any news since december the 12th?.... Hmm not very impressive.

I think it's my turn to write something so here we go!

Ding ding... all change over here as DC and RC head stateside for some work relief. I get the feeling that the Arup ship is being jumped in favour of sunnier places. Should be some interesting updates from those crazy kids. Rich seems to have landed on his feet so far, with a massive motor to play with and a snazzy flat.

On that note, work have announced big cuts this year, to the tune of 400 people. Mackie and naked trails jumping boy (always forget his name) have already felt the pinch. Is this the year of beans on toast and riding all day for nothing?!

Even the oil tycoons are feeling it tho. Shell announced today that profits are down to a lowly 4.7bn for the last three months. Must be gutted.

This weekend i have my good old buddy Stu over for his 30th (makes me feel old but he is easily the oldest in the group) plus some good old home pals, including the travelers and even Welshy himself.
